You can also apply for a residence permit by becoming an official (board member, proctor, administrator, liquidator or member of partnership) in a Latvian company.
In this case the company’s share capital must at least LVL 2000. The company in the last year and in the subsequent years must be economically active and must carry the economic benefits for the Latvian economy, by paying in taxes at least LVL 10 000 annually, and employing at least 5 employees.
