We, offer to our clients to take care of all the necessary activities in connection with the acquisition of residence permits by investing in real estate.
A foreign citizen has the right to request a residence permit for up to five years based on the fact that he has purchased one or more real estate properties in the Republic of Latvia. In addition, the foreign citizen cannot have previously unpaid real estate taxes, as well as real estate must meet the following requirements:
- The property must be acquired after 01.07.2010, and when applying for a residence permit, foreign citizen must have the land register, which certifies ownership.
- The total payment for the property (in Riga, Jurmala, Ventspils, Liepaja, Rezekne, Daugavpils, Jelgava, Valmiera, Riga Jekabpils or region) must be at least LVL 100 000 (EUR 142 287.18), or not less than LVL 50 000 (EUR 71 143.59) in the other regions.
- The payment of the purchase has to be a non-cash transaction.
- Depending on the location of the property, at least LVL 100 000 (EUR 142 287.18), or LVL 50 000 (EUR 71 143.59), on the acquisition of property must covered by foreigners own resources.
